At Mitushi Couture, every piece from our couture line is handcrafted and made-to-order, created exclusively for you. Due to the bespoke nature of our designs, we maintain a strict policy regarding exchanges and returns.

Our Policy on Returns

No Returns or Exchanges: Due to the made-to-order and highly customized nature of our garments, we are unable to accommodate returns or exchanges under normal circumstances.

Each Mitushi Couture piece is:

  • Handcrafted specifically for you
  • Customized to your measurements and preferences
  • Created with premium fabrics and intricate detailing
  • A unique creation that embodies your individual style

Exceptions: Damage or Manufacturing Defects

We understand that rare situations may arise. In the unlikely event of:

  • Damage during transit: Product received with visible damage
  • Manufacturing defect: Significant quality issues or defects in craftsmanship
  • Incorrect product: You received a completely different item than ordered
  • Size mismatch due to our error: Garment does not match the measurements you provided

We will evaluate replacement requests on a case-by-case basis.

Eligibility Criteria for Replacement Claims

To be eligible for evaluation:

  • Claim must be raised within 48 hours of delivery
  • Product must be unused, unworn, and in original condition with all tags attached
  • Original packaging must be intact
  • Photographic evidence of damage or defect must be provided
  • Product must not have been altered or modified in any way

What is NOT Covered

Returns/replacements will not be accepted for:

  • Change of mind or personal preference
  • Minor color variations due to screen settings or handcrafted nature
  • Fit issues due to incorrect measurements provided by customer
  • Normal wear and tear after use
  • Damage caused by misuse, improper storage, or washing
  • Custom design changes after production has begun

Replacement Process

If your case qualifies for evaluation:

  1. Contact Us Immediately: Reach out within 48 hours of delivery with order details and photographic evidence
  2. Evaluation Period: Our team will review your claim within 3-4 business days
  3. Return Authorization: If approved, we will provide return instructions and a return authorization
  4. Parcel Return: Ship the product back to us in original condition using our specified courier
  5. Inspection: Upon receiving the returned parcel, we will inspect it within 7-10 business days
  6. Replacement: If the claim is valid, a replacement will be created and dispatched

Please Note: The entire process from claim approval to replacement dispatch may take 4-6 weeks depending on the complexity of the garment.

Refund Policy

As every Mitushi piece is handcrafted and made-to-order, we do not offer refunds. In rare, exceptional cases where a replacement is not feasible (product discontinuation, unavailability of materials, etc.), refunds may be considered at our sole discretion.

Refund Processing (If Approved)

In the exceptional event a refund is approved:

  • Refund approval notification will be sent within 3-4 business days of claim evaluation
  • Upon receiving and inspecting the returned parcel, refund will be processed within 7-10 business days
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
  • Please allow an additional 5-7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account (depending on your bank)

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy

Before Production Begins

  • Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order
  • Full refund will be processed within 7-10 business days

After Production Begins

  • Once production has commenced, cancellations cannot be accepted as materials have been procured and work has begun on your custom piece
  • This typically occurs within 24-48 hours of order confirmation

To maintain the beauty and longevity of your Mitushi Couture garment:

  • Dry clean only
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Avoid contact with perfumes, deodorants, or harsh chemicals
  • Handle embellishments with care
